Why donate?
Because you think, what we are doing has a purpose. Because you want to help us fullfill that purpose. Although we are hoping you will donate much of your time and expertise, we also accept the generally accepted contribution: money. Some things we have to do depend on things which are not for free e.g. bandwidth, food, travel expenses, computers. So your *undefined* donation would contribute to those more general things and help us not lose faith.
If you want to donate to some specific project/aspect/whatever instead of money, we are more than happy to hear your ideas, but we may reject them, if we cannot do it without your money or if we feel that you are trying to “buy” us.
What to donate?
Whatever you can spare and whatever we can use for our purpose. Money is always welcome. Some sort of “encouraging” food such as some “Kopi Luwak”-coffee, a big box of Jolt!-Cola or similar is very welcome. You could even stop by the office and invite us to one of the more classy restaurants here in Hamburg.
Of course, your brains and thoughts are also heavily appreciated (but please make sure beforehand, that you can keep up with us strange, nerdy and purpose-driven guys). Contribute directly by coding with us. Contribute indirectly by spreading the word and helping us to make this whole thing a bit (lots of bits, bytes, words and stuff) better.
